Commercial Buildings
Spriet Associates offers clients highly functional and economical building designs that are also aesthetically pleasing.

Industrial Buildings
Spriet Associates has extensive experience in industrial building design, ranging from new manufacturing plants, warehouses and transport terminals to building additions and upgrades.

The photos at right and below illustrate the Vytec vinyl siding manufacturing plant in London. Spriet Associates were involved from the initial project concept to the full development of the plant.

Institutional and Recreational Facilities
For nearly four decades, Spriet Associates has been designing facilities for Ontario municipalities and government agencies. Projects include offices, community halls, libraries, arenas, curling rinks, tennis facilities, works garages and utility buildings.

Residential Buildings
Spriet Associates residential design services range from single family homes and cottages to multi-unit and mixed-use complexes. The photos below show Oakwood Plaza during the final stages of construction. This development is located on a sloping site in the resort community of Grand Bend, Ontario. The lower level contains a fitness centre, while the upper level features rental apartment units with ground-level access at the rear of the building.

The ISLAND MOORING CLUB is a waterfront cottage community on the Chenal Ecarte, part of the St. Clair waterway in the Algonac-Port Lambton area. Spriet Associates have designed several of the cottages in this development.

Building Restoration and Conversion
The firm also undertakes building restoration and conversion projects. A recent example (shown below) is Sterling Place, at 330 Clarence in London. This heritage building is a former shoe factory/warehouse that retains the original exterior, but internally has been fully upgraded and converted to apartments. The building is now fully rented.
